Marriage License Details
Contact the city/town clerk for your town within 90 days of your wedding date. If neither the bride or groom are RI state residents, you must apply for the license in the city/town where the ceremony will take place.
We will be returning your completed license to the appropriate office the business day following your wedding ceremony, either in person or by certified mail.
If you are planning on traveling afterwards by any mode of travel that requires identification, be aware that you won't be able to prove you are now Mrs. or Mr. (New Name), so make sure you get those tickets in your maiden name!
At the time you apply for your marriage license, ask the clerk to explain to you how you may acquire your certified copy.

A deposit in the amount of $175.00 (non-refundable) is required to reserve your wedding date & time. This "locks" in the time and date for us both. We accept cash, checks & credit cards.
Please note: The deposit is NOT in addition to our fee; it is taken off of the final balance. The remainder of the fee is due the day of the rehearsal or the wedding day, whichever comes first. Your date will not be reserved until your deposit is received.
